How does it work?

Global projects

What is the reason behind the projects and what are the conditions?

The Trees for All Foundation develops and supports projects around the world. To qualify as a forest project, it is a condition that all projects contribute to the sustainable development of the specific region. This means that the projects must have both ecological and socio-economic added value for the local society. By creating jobs in both tree cultivation and forest maintenance and protection, the income position and living conditions of the local population improve. With improved awareness and interconnectedness and reduced atmospheric CO² as a result. In short: a win-win!

Who determines which project?

Trees for All employs project managers at domestic and international level, who are constantly looking for new projects in line with the foundation’s core values. They present these projects to all their partners and they can participate without any obligation.
As a UPF initiative, we subscribe 100% to all submitted projects because we see the deforestation issue as a global challenge. Where any tree is planted is of less interest to us, as long as we keep doing it.
