FAQ

Frequently asked
questions

All questions about United Packaging Forest and Trees for All in one place. Is your question not listed? Then please fill in the contact form above.

Global tree loss is so significant that we cannot solve it by ourselves. By joining forces, knowledge & information with each other, we as UPF can really contribute to forest restoration.

We expect nothing from our partners except that they want to contribute to the tree loss problem. You decide what you want to set up, organise or communicate extra. The UPF can help with this and the different partners inspire each other with ideas and knowledge!

There are 4 different packages that allow you to become a partner of the UPF. We greatly appreciate it when partners make multiple donations, but this is not an obligation. Once a partner, you remain a partner forever (unless you no longer wish to do so yourself).

To apply, please use the application form on this website or send an email to info@unitedpackagingforest.com. One of the project managers will then contact you with no obligation.

Your UPF donation will be 100% passed on to the Trees for All foundation. They have ANBI status, which means that all their financial flows and fulfilment of pledges meet the conditions set.

The UPF has opted for TfA’s 1-2-tree programme. This means that every project in a European country, is also linked to a “sister” project in another continent. When a project is completed, we donate trees again for another TfA project.

The answer to this is yes and no. The number of certified forest projects is still relatively small. These specific forest projects are often claimed by large multinationals, which means that as a relatively small donor, you cannot get in. TfA offers the same result with their 1-2-tree programme, just not with a certificate. The result is the same, which is why you can request a participation certificate from TfA.

The answer to this is a clear YES! There are no exceptions or VETO rights to exclude partners. Anyone with a “Green” heart can join. You become a partner from as little as a single 1-2-tree donation.

Yes! We offer multiple options to all partners and from 100 1-2-tree packages you can also participate in knowledge and networking meetings. Furthermore, we communicate with UPF supporters and possible new interesting partners through newsletters, special events and other tools.

Definitely! We already have partners from Greece, France and Belgium. Together, we have already realised projects in Uganda, Bolivia, Mexico, Vietnam, Ghana, the Netherlands and France. The aim is to expand this internationally.
